My Offerings

I am a qualified Yoga and Pilates Teacher and Retreat Facilitator with over two decades of personal yoga practice.

As a teacher, I offer a variety of yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Nidra, Restorative) and craftily weave the elements of yoga philosophy and Sanskrit into my classes.

Lately, I have also supported women at various stages of their menopause journey through yoga, Pilates, breathwork and meditation.

I have taught numerous yoga & Pilates classes in person and online to groups and individuals of different levels and abilities. I’m based in England, but I have also taught in more exotic locations, such as Bali, Borneo, Egypt and the US.

I run annual wellness retreats (that include yoga, Pilates, life coaching, hiking and more) in beautiful places around the world.

Group sessions and private classes (which can be coaching, yoga, Pilates or a combination of both)

1:1 and small group coaching and mentoring for yoga/Pilates teachers and retreat facilitators

Wellness retreats including yoga, Pilates, neuroplasticity and life coaching in beautiful places around the world

My Philosophy

“They may forget what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel”

This is my motto as a coach and yoga teacher. Some of my students and clients may feel stressed, tired or overwhelmed when they arrive and my goal is for them to leave our sessions with a feeling of self-acceptance, inspired to change their lives for the better.

My Coaching Approach

I am a certified Life Coach with extensive knowledge of the psychosomatic (mind/body) approach. In simple terms it is “psychology meets yoga” and this is a result of my long-lasting interest in psychology and my personal experience as a yoga practitioner.

I combine traditional life coaching methods (goal setting and addressing specific issues in personal or professional lives) with psychosomatic and neuroplasticity approaches. It means I rely on the elements of practical psychology (e.g., Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), body-oriented therapy, etc.) with a blend of useful yogic techniques to encourage our bodies and minds to work together as one.

Testimonials

Dear Tati, I just wanted to say an enormous thank you for today. It was beautifully healing and relaxing. I had no idea that I could enjoy a class so much. I feel completely epic. I stretched parts of my body that have been stagnant for well over a year. The release is incredible. I feel 6 inches taller and my knees hurt less already. I literally cannot thank you enough! I wish I had started doing this years ago! Your classes are so calm; they speak to me in the most wonderful way. You are such a beautiful calm and most fantastic teacher... I feel very blessed to be part of your classes. Thank you so very much!

I recently had the privilege of taking three one-to-one training sessions with the brilliant Tatiana Shuvalova-Mirren. I learned so much from her, and I feel so very lucky! I run a retreat business to cultivate mind, body and spirit, and I had booked sessions with Tatiana to help me hone a gentle yoga and movement routine. Her expertise was invaluable. Firstly, she focused on what was working well - it was so motivating! She then gave me very specific feedback on how I could improve. My confidence came through both in my body and my voice afterwards, which Tatiana observed in the final feedback. I just can't thank her or recommend her personal training sessions highly enough!

I have had several sessions with Tatiana, working on historic issues and challenges that I have previously tried to work on myself. I didn't want to go down the counselling route but wanted to approach my "blocks" in a different way. The blended approach using both mental and physical responses suits me perfectly. It has been difficult at times but Tatiana is empathic and supportive and has a tool kit to be flexible enough to suit my responses and support my own way of dealing with things. I can thoroughly recommend this type of therapy and Tatiana as a therapist.

Tati is the best coach I have ever worked with. I started working with her after major life changes when I knew I wanted to do something different in my life but didn't know where to start. I have tried working with therapists and counsellors before but it wasn't helping me think about where I want to go next. Tati helped me learn how to listen to my body, worked with me on setting goals, and helped me discover myself. She is fatastic to work with, she is always very caring and insightful. I highly recommend working with her if you want to learn more about yourself, break through old patterns, and build healthy and happy life.

My Story

From my early childhood, I have been determined to become a creator of my own destiny and live my life to the fullest, free from expectations of others. I am now in my early 40’s; a proud mom of two gorgeous fur babies (cats), living in a small beautiful town in the South West of England (just outside of Bristol), and with friends all over the world. I love travelling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

Yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years and my main resource in coping with life’s changes and challenges. In the last few years I have navigated through a divorce with grace and compassion. I have also experienced the “joys” of peri-menopause, and as a result, I now offer a lot of tools for women with similar experiences. Additionally, I have been diagnosed with M.E./CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and severe anxiety and depression. Various techniques from yoga, breathwork and meditation have been absolutely invaluable in supporting me through all of these obstacles and also led me to a path of psychosomatic and neuroplasticity coaching.

Neuroplasticity is our brain’s ability to constantly evolve by developing new neural pathways that in turn can “re-write” old patterns and habits and create new healthier and happier ways of being. I now work for an international company RE-ORIGIN that offers brain retraining for people suffering from different long-term conditions as well as anybody who wishes to change their habitual ways of thinking and living.

My life has not always been easy but it has made me the person I am today - strong, confident, resilient - and with a huge desire to help other people to feel the same way.

My most important value in life is personal growth and my biggest passion is supporting others on their journeys of self-discovery and evolution. In my yoga and coaching sessions, I hold a safe and nurturing space for people to achieve their full potential and become the best versions of themselves. This, in turn, has a positive impact on all areas of life: relationships, physical and mental well-being, personal and professional goals.
